This is the very first artwork I have done using my Intuos 6x8 wacom tablet. This was done in a program called "OpenCanvas" which was donated to me by my sweet friend

SUBJECT MATTER: This drawing was done about two years ago as a request by XMarinX. I asked her if she wanted me to draw anything, and she requested a cozy bed scene of Malon and Link. I took the idea and ran with it.

This is supposed to take place after Link and Malon have married and settled down on the farm. In wintertime they are snuggling under their quilt after a clearly romantic interlude.

LIGHTSOURCE: There are two visible lightsources in this painting. The first is obviously the candle on the table; of course this candle can't cast ALL of the bright light in the room! The other lightsource is an unseen fireplace, which is the means to warming their hearth and home. (Oh yeah and the painting behind their heads is actually of the Lost Woods. I threw that in there because perhaps Link had it painted for him to remind him of where he grew up when he was not there visiting).

Yes the lighting on this is astounding. I haven't been able to work OC to my advantage yet, but I'm glad you have! This is simply beautiful.

Beautiful work on the soft tones! O.O I couldn't do that if I wanted to... I remember seeing this as a sketch and loving it. Now you've really brought it to life with color. :) Fantastic work, and grats again on the tablet.

OMFG THIS IS AWESOME!!! The only bad thing about it is Link and Malon's hair is a little dull but besides that it is so pretty I love how espaicly you made the covers and the wood verry detailed as a matter of fact this pic is very detailed :)
