Hello everyone. It's been a long time since we've posted anything to do with TZP. However, our Lon Lon Ranch shoot is finally finished, so I thought I'd post a fun teaser here on DA while we work on the photos from the shoot.

Malon hands Link a bottle of Lon Lon Milk to take along for his journey.

The Zelda Project is a Los Angeles, CA based group of friends who seek to bring to life the characters, settings, and overall feel of Ocarina of Time through photography and film. Our ultimate goal is to create the characters as they would appear in reality to the best of our abilities, placing them in beautiful sceneries true to their Hyrulean counterparts, and creating elaborate photosets, as well as a film short (coming once the cosplay segment of the project is completed!).

Did you use any real-world reference when designing the gauntlets or were they mostly based off of the in-game model?

One thing I really like about this photo is the gloves. I know it sounds a bit dumb, but whenever people cosplay as characters who have gloves, the characters gloves look think and much like fingers, when the cosplay gloves just look like regular gloves with lumps and such.

Perhaps it's just me, but it really annoys me.

Other than that, this photo is great, I look forward to more of The Zelda Project

I actually really like this small, detail shot. You can see the texture of his gloves, the detail on the milk bottle. And they both have very nice looking hands.

I know it may be weird or something to so, but the detail here is amazing. The first thing I noticed was how clean cut their nails were, which I think is great because a lot of cosplayers forget to do little physical things when cosplaying. It's not required or expected really, but clean cut looks good.
