This is the costume of Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) that I made for my 17 year old sister Leah. Leah looks alot like me so people mistake her for me. This is not me in the photo, this is Leah my sister. This dress actually has 16 gores in it, and underneith she is wearing a corset that is squeezing her waist down to 23 inches. We decided that she needed an unnaturally small waist because Aurora had one in the movie. It needed to be victorian-small... so I kicked out a corset for her in a few hours. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
