This is yet another finally-colored-it-lazyface pictures that I sketched forever ago. My original intent with the sketch was supposed to be a picture of Marin's image fading away into the sky as Link remembers her.

In the game she asks him never to forget the song she sings or her... and it prompted this image originally.

It's sort of similar to the old cg I did of myself and *pikminlink with the text "Will you remember as time goes on?"

This picture is supposed to depict Link back in Hyrule after the events of Link's Awakening, standing on the shores remembering her.

the worst part of these games is the ending, it so sad to him going back to where he came from, he has grown sooo much and the gods take it from him he goes from outcast to hero and then they take it from him:((

Wow. Amazing job!
To answer the question asked many times: Marin was in the game Link's Awakening. She was kinda the Princess Zelda character in that game because Zelda wasn't in this one. When Link first sees her he calls her Zelda.
