I'm a big fan of Aeris and Tifa's friendship, and I decided to draw this picture for my friend Alaria who is my Tifa.

I love this very much. Me and my friend are also Aeris and Tifa, so I love seeing them together like this. <3

Glad to know this isn't yuri...(looks that way since they're holding hands) but it's a cute picture, just the "holding hands" thing seems a little on the romantic side... ^^;

It's not yuri. I have nothing against yuri but I hold my friends hands all the time and I'm not a lesbian. ^^;;;;

I understand. And that's alright. :) I know holding hands doesn't necessarily mean "automatic lovers", but it's just perceived that way so much, unfortunately. :-\ That's why I'm quite wary whenever I see drawings/pics of girls or guys hugging or holding hands, or any of the the sort. Yaoi and yuri fans have distorted things so much, makes me sick. >.<

But yes, I understand this pic isn't yuri, I read your description and also I faved, so yeah. :D

Haha I have many gay friends and I'd never say anything bad to them in regards to how they feel...I want nothing but for them to have equal civil rights. But on a personal preference level... I can't stand yaoi/yuri. It's just not at all what I like. I ship het all the way >_<

Yeah, I don't like yaoi/yuri either at all. It's always in your face even when you're not searching for that. It's a real pain. >.< And yep, I ship hetero all the way too. :dance: I'm sick of people saying it's "old-fashioned". Yeah, right... :| Yaoi and Yuri is what's getting old fast. If it wasn't everywhere, I'd tolerate it more.

from what I have observed the people who like yaoi and yuri are just confused w/ their own sexuality and use the characters as projection.
